I currently reside in Maine with my husband, Nick, our four children and our dog, Stella.  There is a story to the name Emmett & Ellie.  We lost our son Emmett at 20 weeks pregnant, as he was stillborn.  The grief of this loss ultimately brought me to Jesus.  Our daughter, Elliana (Ellie), whose name means, "God has answered"  was our rainbow baby and quite literally an answered prayer.  There is so much more depth and detail to this story, but that's for another time.

I've always been a creative at heart, Whether it's curating the perfect color palette, putting together stunning font pairings, or selecting gorgeous images. As a photographer who designed my own website and fell in love with showit, i quickly became a certified showit designer and began offering to design websites for friends, family and my church. Being a photographer with an eye for design gives me an advantage, as I know how to edit photos with a consistent aesthetic as well as size them appropriately for web use, enabling a responsive website that loads immediately.
